Refund Policy

1. General Policy

Registration fees for CYBERATHON 2026 are generally non-refundable once payment has been successfully processed, as costs (event kits, jerseys, medals, logistics, venue, and safety arrangements) are committed in advance based on confirmed registration numbers.

2. Eligible Refund Situations

Refunds (in full or in part) may be considered in the following circumstances:

• Event cancellation by the organiser. If CYBERATHON 2026 is cancelled outright (not postponed) by Apphia Multimedia (M) Sdn Bhd, registered participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to the next edition.
• Duplicate or erroneous payment. If you were charged more than once for the same registration due to a technical error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.
• Payment gateway error. If Curlec confirms a payment was deducted from your account but no registration was created on our system, the amount will be refunded once verified.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

• Change of mind or personal unavailability (illness, travel conflict, work commitments, etc.)
• Failure to attend the event without prior written notice
• Event postponement to a later date (your registration remains valid for the new date)
• Disqualification for breach of event rules or code of conduct

4. Category / Participant Transfers

Instead of a refund, you may request to transfer your registered slot to another person, or change your category/jersey size, up to 14 days before event day, subject to availability and a small administrative handling fee where applicable. Transfer requests must be submitted via our enquiry form or the contact email below.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email refunds@apphia.com.my with your receipt number, registered name, and reason for the request. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Curlec within 14 business days.
