Terms & Conditions — CYBERATHON 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your registration and participation in CYBERATHON 2026, organised by Apphia Multimedia (M) Sdn Bhd. By registering, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Eligibility & Registration

Registration is open to all age groups per the category requirements stated on the Categories page; participants under 18 in adult categories require guardian consent.
All information submitted during registration (name, IC/passport, contact details) must be accurate and truthful. Fraudulent registrations may be cancelled without refund.
Registration is only confirmed upon successful payment via the Curlec payment gateway and receipt of a confirmation email/WhatsApp message with your receipt number.

2. Payment

All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed securely by Curlec; we do not store your card or banking credentials on our servers.

3. Bib Numbers, Kits & Jerseys

Bib numbers are assigned only after payment is confirmed and are non-transferable except through an approved transfer request (see our Refund Policy). Jersey sizes are allocated based on your selection at registration and are subject to stock availability; substitutions of the nearest available size may occur.

4. Participant Conduct & Safety

Participants must follow all instructions from event marshals, medical staff, and safety personnel.
Participants confirm they are medically fit to take part; those with pre-existing medical conditions should consult a doctor before participating.
The organiser reserves the right to disqualify or remove any participant who endangers themselves or others, or who breaches event rules.

5. Event Changes & Cancellation

The organiser reserves the right to postpone, modify the route/category structure, or (in extreme circumstances) cancel the event due to safety, weather, regulatory, or force majeure reasons. See our Refund Policy for how this affects registration fees.

6. Liability

Participation is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, Apphia Multimedia (M) Sdn Bhd and its event partners are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except where caused by our proven negligence.

7. Media & Data Privacy

Your personal data is handled per our Data Privacy (PDPA) Notice. By participating, you consent to being photographed/filmed for promotional use as described there.

8. Intellectual Property

All event branding, route maps, medal/jersey designs, and website content are the property of Apphia Multimedia (M) Sdn Bhd and may not be reproduced without written permission.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
